2023 EV Charger Rebate

Connected EV Charger Rebate Online Application

Residential customers can apply for a rebate by filling out the form below. Be sure to attach your receipts to the designated file upload locations. If you have any questions regarding this application, feel free to call us at (989) 894-8350 or email us at [email protected].

Connected EV Charger must be a Level 2 or Level 3 Charger. A copy of the EVSE spec sheet(s) must be submitted with the rebate application along with the sales receipt. The equipment must be 240 volts, hard-wired and have Wi-Fi connectivity. Rebate is $80 per kilowatt (kW) capped at $500 per charger and cannot exceed purchase price.

This offer is only valid for Bay City Electric Light & Power (BCELP) residential customers and products must be installed in BCELP’s service territory. The BCELP Residential Rebate Application cannot be processed unless all of the appropriate fields in this application are complete. Rebates are paid on a first-come, first-serve basis. All rebate payments for approved applications are subject to the availability of program funds. This application is only valid for purchases made between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023. All applications must be submitted to the program office or postmarked by January 6, 2024. Rebates will be credited to the electric account of the installation address. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your rebate to be credited to your utility bill from the time your completed application is received by BCELP. (In some instances, checks may be issued to the BCELP account holder.) Incomplete applications will result in a delayed or denied rebate. Total rebate value cannot exceed the purchase price (before tax) and will be capped accordingly.
