BCELP Connects with Local Families in Need

On Wednesday, October 22nd, BCELP participated in Project Connect at the Bay County Community Center. At this event, local families in need are able to visit with local assistance agencies. The Electric Department was present at the event promoting its Energy Smart program, including the Refrigerator Replacement Program and the Helping Neighbors Program.
Over 200 people visited the Electric Department’s table to learn about the Energy Smart program. BCELP anticipates 5-10 referrals to the Refrigerator Replacement Program. Additionally, approximately 40 BCELP customers signed up for the Helping Neighbors Program, which will provide them with electric and gas energy savings. |
